What placement opportunities are given to students after completing a law course from University of Petroleum and Energy Studies?

There are lot of opportunities provided with various companies exposure.

Hi there, Well, UPES has been a name in terms of legal education for over a decade now and has earned much of reputation as well. Placements at the campus itself are quite good and attractive and students get to have even PPOs. The institute has been a name in Legal field. You do not have to worry much for the campus placements as there are a lot of recruiters. Also, apart from it, you have chances to get into a PSU which may be a state run or center run. Also, you have other options of litigation and even judicial services. Teaching profession is also available owing to other qualifications after LLB. So, overall placements opportunities at the campus level is good itself and also, you get a good education here which makes you more able.

Hi there, The University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES) for Law is considered to be one of the very good law colleges in India. The college has a very good faculty and a good campus favorable to law students. They college concentrates on quality education to its students. Price-Waterhouse-Cooper (PwC) has been a constant recruiter since the past few years. Other major recruiters Adani, Wadia Ghandy & Co., Mulla & Mulla, Selvam & Selvam, Orbit Law Services, Legal Orbit, and etc. Students mostly get placed into consultancies (including LPOs) and a few fortunate of them manage to land up in PPOs. The placement cell is thus a very active one and is constantly working on the placements of its students throughout the year. I hope this information proves helpful to you. Students are offered jobs at LPOs, corporate companies and law firms. However, the opportunities vary every year. Top prominent recruiters are: Torrent Power Kent Chambers PWC Selvam and Selvam Legal Orbit Legal Link NKG Infrastructure
