What placement opportunities are given to students after completing a law course from Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies (VIPS)?

Well VIPS is comparatively new institution, but it is doing well and is improving. However, you can’t expect much as of now, as not many firms visit the campus and it is mostly the tier 3 or newer law firms with not very good package. Also, there is no average package as such, as I mentioned it is a comparatively new institute and firms visit the institutes based on their batches. The students however may opt for CLAT PG and get a job in PSUs like ONGC IOCl GAIL etc., which depends on their ranks mostly. Also, other opportunities that a law graduate has are available to the graduate form VIPS. Though not much opportunities are available as of now in campus, but yes with time there would be an improvement in the placement structure However, students have options of Judiciary UPSC and IBPS exams available to them at every time. Also, a law graduate is much eligible to have his own practice as well.

Hi, VIPS provide an average package of about 4-5 lacs after completing a law course. Many of the students don't opt for it because they either go for LLM or try for judiciary or opt for some other line, law has to offer.
