Hi, I am not sure whether you can get good placement opportunities after completing B.Des from BBK DAV College for Women (BBKDAV) if you want to do Bachelors in designing only then there are much better colleges for it like NIFT, NID and IIT-UCEED. These colleges are design specialised with better career opportunities. You should do it from worthy place where its worth paying fees and learning. On an average, one can easily get a placement offer with a starting salary of 3 Lacs per annum. All the best.

Hi, The placement cell of the college remains literally on its toes to organize campus interviews and also to arrange outstation visits for the benefit of college students. During the session 2016-17, a very big number of our students got placed in prestigious companies like Concentrix, Capgemini, TCS, etc. Many of the Designing students are working in Emphasis Architects, Kapoor Cotsyn, Tuli Architects & Engineers, Idea Architects & Interior Designers, Deco Architecture Cost. & Interior, Navada Foundation, Habitat Architects, The Accurate and many more. Not only placement cell other divisions of this college is also making to be chosen one, Bachelor of Design, where communication skills are part of the curriculum design, the skill exercises are woven into the system. The Orator's Club and the 'Writewingers' hold contests to promote speech and writing skills respectively. 'Face to Face' programmes also help the students in thinking clearly, expressing themselves fluently and being positively assertive.

BBK DAV College Has an active placement cell that works dedicatedly to provide employment to the students. It carries out various activities to train the students and prepares them for company interviews. Various workshops are conducted on a regular basis to enhance the interpersonal and communication skills of students. Job aspirants are provided with golden opportunities according to their calibre. Many leading companies are invited in campus to get the students recruited accordingly. Placement scenario in DAV was pretty good. Although the college did not attract all the top level multinationals, there were some really great companies. All of the students apply for them. About 20 to 30 percent of the students who apply for placements get in with some company or the other. Some major recruiters were companies like TCS, Amazon, IBM, ICICI, Aon, etc. It encourages the students much to take up internships. The students who were interested in pursuing internships are provided pieces of advice when they approached the faculty. They did help by providing information on what kind of internships would be helpful for us in the course that we are doing and all that stuff. The management of the college is also very good there is nothing bad about the management according to my experience. The college is too good, I suggest everyone to join this college. The job opportunities are there in the college as a lot of companies come for hiring candidates and also for internships. So I suggest you to join this college as there is a good placement opportunity other than all colleges in Amritsar. You will get the offer letter before completing your course, but you have to complete the course for the job.
