What placement opportunities are given to students in India after completing B.Des from DIT University?

I have written a bunch of answers regarding DIT, however this one (owing to the nature of question) is a more generic version. First of all, it is no more a college as in DIT but now a Deemed University as per UGC norms, ergo, DIT University. I will try to answer it from multiple aspects, and since you are more interested in placements, Ill begin with that.placements: Depending on what bubble you are from, you'll have different remarks about the placements from DIT. All the statistics and figures aside, there are following types of companies that visit campus:mass recruiters- They will hire just about anyone in your batch who can type, talk, and reason, almost as good as the next person. Cutoff at about 60-65% of total UG score, 70% of your batch will be eligible and when seated in a row, look left, look right, one of you will not make it of three. Avg package - 3.25LPA. These include Infosys, Wipro and Cognizant. Although the word around the campus is that the contract of Infosys ends this year and TCS will be coming to campus from next year.nBPO- They are mostly telemarketing firms and come in two slots around the year with a huge intake in mind. One of its kind pays an AVG 1 LPA above mass recruiters and other kind pays 1 LPA below. Eligibility - All branchesnDream Companies- Depending on your bubble and your luck, it will either of Adobe (again the rumor has it that they won't be coming anytime soon now), HP Research, Ericsson (although it hasn't been on campus for quite some years), Mahindra, L&T. Package ranges from 59 LPA on avg. Eligibility : variesnSurprise giants. From time to time companies like Amazon, Hike and likes grace our campus. This year it was Amazon, but no one made it. I would't consider Josh Technology a giant but still it was a pleasant surprise this year.nFillers- These are the scavenger firms, that come at strategic moments when students are lucky to have a company still coming after all the rejections and are ready to sell their souls for 23LPA and tireless slogging at less than meaningless jobs.students looking for off-campus placements have a hard time because truth be told, name sell. And DIT unfortunately is not a brand. Its not totally unheard of but really tough to make it off-campus at a major firm, in the likes of TATA, Google, Microsoft, Intel. there's no firm for the recruitment of B.Des in particular but all the students get placed in one company of the other in one of the above mentioned names.

Hello, From the colors you get to use, to the furniture you get to add. And according to your Excalibur and Creativity then the student is being placed. And secondary sure shot placement opportunities can be given by no college. The reason behind is that along with the capabilities of a good college combine good efforts are required by a student too. And like all five fingers are not same so the students are. Thus instead of thinking what placement opportunities are given to students in India after completing B. Des from DIT University, we should make yourself best to be placed in all sort of fields. That is either given by college in form of placement or created by our own in form our business or company. Rest our university DITU is also offering B. design for which we required 50% marks in 12th standard. And placements are in your hands you can be placed by the college itself or if even you can start your own dream business as a 1. Creative Designer 2. Exhibition Designer 3. Technical Designer or 4. Theater Designer. Thank you.

Dear student, DITU is offering B. Designing in Interior Designing and being an interior designer means you get be creative in many ways. From the colors you get to use, to the furniture you get to add. And according to your Excalibur and Creativity then the student is being placed. And secondary sure shot placement opportunities can be given by no college. The reason behind is that along with the capabilities of a good college combine good efforts are required by a student too.
