What placement opportunities are given to students in India after completing B.Des from National Institute of Fashion Technology?

Hi, NIFT is undoubtedly the best Institute in India and is well reputed internationally as well.nNIFT Alumni are always given an edge over the other colleaguesnYou can apply for scholarships, which is given on the basis of merit, financial background or bothnIn Design course, you do have a lot of projects and submissions. Yes, it does involve extra expenses. On an average you'll be spending approximately 6-7000 on them. But they do add to your portfolio and are totally worth it.nIn terms of package, you can expect a min of 23-25000 INR pm in hand.nYou do have a lot of spare time during the course. So, you can always utilize them to earn few extra bucks.nIf you are very much interested in design and strongly want to pursue it as your profession, Ill say yes. But if you are not sure about it, don't take it forward. Design is too much of hard work and extensive research and getting practical as well as balancing the artsy side. Most don't find it suitable and that become their the worst decision. So if you really want to ask if its worth, ask yourself will you able to? And how interested are you? All the best.

Hi, NIFT has a central placement system where they invite every possible brand, designers and MNCs. And on an average, one gets a package of 3 lacks and it can go up to 12 lacks. All depends on the student capabilities and the job profile. FC is the highest paid stream of B.Des.
