5 years agoGood placement opportunities after completing Masters in design from Kalaprabodhini Institute of Design, Kolhapur or not. You should do it from a place where its worth paying fees and can get to learn enough. If you want to do master's in designing only then there are much better colleges for it like NIFT (national institute of fashion technology ), NID (national institute of design), IIT CEED common entrance examination for design ). These colleges are design specialised and will give you better career opportunities. These are all government colleges and comes under the top 50 design colleges all over the world. hii, I am not very sure whether one can get good placement opportunities after completing master's of design from Kalaprabodhini Institute of Design, Kolhapur or not. Kolhapur, this is the place that is famous in Maharashtra for folk music, folk cinema, arts etc. Since ages. In fact in olden days, majority of Marathi Cinemas were produced here. This necessitated requirement of designers of sets, interior, clothing, textiles etc.
Hence, no wonder that Kalaprabodhini decided to have their institute of design in this city. The courses offered are affiliated to Shivaji University, and hence follow the expected pattern.
