What placement opportunities are given to the students in India after completing BJMC from Bhagwant University?

Hello It offers 3 years full time journalism and mass communication course. In terms of infrastructure and faculty the college is quite good. It provides every student all the equipment's necessary for the training of future journalist. Also students are properly exposed to the outer environment, industries and media personalities so they will gain something important for their future. No doubt, Bhagwant University is well known for its education and international collaboration but as per my knowledge the recruiters are less. Neither a lot companies approaches its student nor the university made any extra efforts to place its student.

Bhagwant University is located in Rajasthan - Ajmer which is far from the national capital or the capital of the state to create a scope and preference for admission in mass communication. However, this cannot be made the basis to reject them for BJMC. Let us discuss the essentials needed for a place to do BJMC and the presence of things at Bhagwant University: 1. The university was founded in 2008 making it not an old institution in professional institutions. 2. The placements for any degree like engineering, etc. are not popular as their own website fails to showcase the same. 3. There is a poor online image of the university however, the institution has tried to answer that. 4. There is a post to this question as an answer where an ex-student seems to have shared an experience. That feedback has to be given a serious consideration.

<p>Hi, Bhagwant University aims to prepare a media person with pouring all the knowledge, information and skills in the students. It offers 3 years full time journalism and mass communication course. In terms of infrastructure and faculty the college is quite good. It provides every student all the equipment's necessary for the training of future journalist. Also students are properly exposed to the outer environment, industries and media personalities so they will gain something important for their future. No doubt, Bhagwant University is well known for its education and international collaboration but as per my knowledge the recruiters are less. Neither a lot companies approaches its student nor the university made any extra efforts to place its student. The recruiters are less so the chances of getting placed through this university are less too. However, it aims to make its student a good writer, listener and a speaker which are a basic quality of a media person. After completing BJMC from here student may get a work with print media, electronic media, digital media, government sector or even in a corporate sector. One has several options - journalist, camera person, news writer, news reader, anchor, TV show presenter, photographer, public relation officer, editor, etc.&nbsp;</p>

Bhagwant University is not good for anything, it doesn't provide you platform for career growth nor the placements are good. I will say placement are the worst. You are on your own for placement purpose. If BJMC degree acquiring is the only motto, go for it. Do not expect any learning (subject related) from this college. Faculty and labs are not upto the mark but are functional.Management is not that well. Mess is really a mess. But still if you aspire to prosper you can still bloom there. As you would get plenty of time in your hand. My batch mate opened his own company in 3rd year. That is only if you are persistent even in such environment. Although if you currently have other options at your hand. Go for that choice (provided that choice is better than BU). Almost 55% students get placements in campus interview. Others do not qualify in the campus. Some of our college teachers are the members of our college placement cell. They try their the best for every student's placements but have none visiting the campus. All the best.
