Hi there, the interview conducted at the time of admission for the Ph.D. students is basically done to have an insight of what the student intends to do during research. The student faces the interview board with an abstract and a research proposal and confirms his interest in the subject and assures that his research will be innovative. If the board finds these answers satisfactory the aspirant is given admission in Ph.D.

Hello! The Ph.D. interview is primarily done to gain insight into the student's plans for their study throughout the admissions process. The student proves his interest in the topic and guarantees that his research will be original when he stands before the interview panel with an abstract and a research proposal. If the board accepts these responses, the applicant is admitted to the Ph.D. programme.

If the candidate is not satisfied with his/her marks in LPU NEST, he/she can retake the examination in the subsequent phases which will be conducted throughout the year. LPU has allowed attempts for the same examination so that students can improve their scores and become eligible for scholarship. It is advisable to use this time between retakes for focusing on weak areas, practicing more mock tests, and revising key concepts to perform better on the next attempt.

Dear,   The amount of time you should spend daily preparing for LPUNEST depends on your current knowledge level, the programme you are applying for, and how much time is left before the exam. On average, it is recommended to dedicate 2–4 hours daily for focused preparation over several months.

For students appearing for B.Tech or science-based programs, daily sessions can be divided into 1 hour each for Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and 30 minutes for English and Aptitude, with short breaks in between. For MBA or Law aspirants, you may focus on Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, English, General Knowledge, and Current A
