    More focus should be there on speed. As there are 120 questions to be attempted in 120 mins. There is no negative marking, so you must atleast attempt each and every question. Mostly the questions are from Intermediate to difficult level. Or in other words if the total difficulty level is 3 then level 2 sort of questions are asked.
    for Quants :- number system, Time and distance, algebra and percentages to be given more importance, whereas a basic knowledge of geometry and trigonometry would do.
    But please be prepared for anything around the overall syllabus, as you never know when the set pattern of questions is changed.

    Since NMAT is computer based objective type MCQ exam with 120 questions with an overall time limit of 2 hours the most important part is time management in the exam. Practice is the key to attaining speed in solving questions.
    Following are the areas in which your major focus should be for Language, Quants and Logical Reasoning.
    Language Skills:
    Questions in this section are from core grammar topics. Usage on Parts of speech, tenses, conditionals, modifiers are generally prominent. The RC passages are short and doable.
