What preparations should I do to improve my chances for XLRI, Jamshedpur except for XAT?

GMAT is the option other than XAT which can give you a slice in the XLRI. Prepare for it well and you can get a chance to study here.

Apart from scoring well in the XAT exam, there are several other things you can do to improve your chances of getting admission to XLRI Jamshedpur: Work on your communication skills: Good communication skills are essential for success in the business world, and XLRI places a lot of emphasis on them.

But many are saying that resident of this country and Dubai where XAT is conducted cannot apply for the college through GMAT. How is it so?

Although the basic preparation for both the exams is almost the same. But, you need to notch it up further to ace XAT. I have always believed that XAT is different from CAT in so many ways. Starting with the level of questions, XAT difficulty level has almost always been a bit higher than that of CA

Dear Akash Sharma, XLRI-Jamshedpur got the sectional cut-off and overall cut-off. Coming to the overall cut-off, it is for all the programmes (88 percentile to 95 percentile). Therefore, get a good score in that range, focus more on quants, verbal and language. All the best.
