Degree in Computer Science, IT, Systems Engineering, or a similar field. Two years of work experience in cyber security-related duties such as incident detection and response, and forensics. Experience with the functionality, operation, and maintenance of firewalls and various forms of endpoint security. The below mentioned are the eligibility criteria for both UG and PG, which the candidate has to fit in. For Cyber Security Undergraduates: The students should have completed their 12th with Maths Physics and Chemistry as the compulsory subjects from a recognised board or university. -
If you want to pursue a course in cybersecurity, most colleges will require you to have a degree in computer Science or information technology. This degree can be a B.Sc. BCA. , B.E. , or a B.Tech. In computer Science. Nowadays, some engineering colleges offer a B.Tech CSE in cybersecurity as well. The minimum requirement is to have a good knowledge of the basics of networking and operating systems. You need to understand the cybersecurity domain in details; therefore, a degree in information technology or computer Science will be useful.
