The two prominent qualities are focus and hard work. Although, The preliminary exam, main exam, and psychometric test (group discussion/interview) are the three stages that make up the SBI PO selection process. The preliminary test, which is the first phase, is qualifying in character. The main exam is the second step and consists of both descriptive and objective tests. To pass the SBI PO cut-off, candidates must achieve high scores in each exam stage. The cutoff for the General category in the SBI PO preliminaries was 58.5, whereas the General category cutoff in the SBI PO Mains was 94.85.

The last and most important step in the SBI Probationary officer selection process is the SBI PO Interview. This procedure, which comes after the preliminary and main examinations, is given a lot of weightage in the evaluation framework overall because it is worth 50 of the possible points (250).
