To be a radio jockey, one should have great communication skills, presence of mind, and should be able to manage crowd and the most importantly should have idea general knowledge.

To become an RJ, you should have confidence, communication skill, attitude, knowledge and command on the current affairs. Be natural as much as you can. If you talk about salary then - it totally depends on your skills, and how wonderful RJ you are.
