What questions are asked across sections in NPAT exam?

<p>The NPAT exam consists of three sections, each section with a different set of question types. Three sections of NMIMS-NPAT exam includes Verbal Reasoning, Logical Reasoning, and Quantitative Reasoning.</p><p><strong>Verbal Reasoning</strong> section tests the ability to understand and interpret written material. The questions in the section are based on the following types:</p><ul><li>Identify the main idea of a passage</li><li>Find the word meaning in context</li><li>Identifying relationships between ideas within a passage</li><li>Make inferences from a passage</li><li>Analyse the structure of a passage</li><li>MCQs gauge grammar and vocabulary</li></ul><p><strong>Logical Reasoning</strong> section of NPAT exam tests the ability to think logically and solve problems. The questions in this section are designed to ask the following:</p><ul><li>Identify patterns</li><li>Complete sequences</li><li>Analyse arguments</li><li>Draw inferences</li><li>Solve problems based critical thinking skills</li></ul><p><strong>Quantitative Reasoning</strong> section has questions to test the ability to understand and apply mathematical concepts. The questions in this section will ask candidates to:</p><ul><li>Solve equations</li><li>Work with fractions and decimals</li><li>Calculate percentages</li><li>Interprets graphs and charts</li><li>Solve word problems, etc.</li></ul><p>The NPAT exam syllabus is not confined to the topics mentioned above. Candidates may come across questions within the section across varied topics. Therefore, candidates must try and solve different types of questions from these three sections discussed above.</p>
