Hi, The ranks depend on your category and home state. If you belong to Telangana then you can get based on your home state rank (ranks for the students in the same state). For general category, your rank should be below 6000 (other state) for getting civil engineering. If you belong to Andhra Prad

Have good and clear knowledge of concepts and practice more and more problems at the JEE level. It is better to join a coaching for JEE. By self-preparation, you can get a decent rank in JEE Mains, but it is impossible to clear JEE Advanced.

It depends on your quota as well ,as there are certain reservations for SC/ST and OBC category. A general category rank of below 10,000 is safe as there will be 4 rounds and your name might appear in any of them.
