To the best of my knowledge, you should have a minimum of 85 percentile in JEE Mains for admission to BTech in Automobile Engineering. My cousin took admission to the same programme at LPU.

This course at LPU is designed and taught primarily to impart hands-on experience to the students in the field of automobile engineering with the basis of mechanical engineering. The students are made familiar with modern technologies involved in the fabrication and working of all types of automobiles and auto components. The primary focus is to provide the students with the skills for their growth in the automobile sector.
LPU provides an opportunity for numerous Live projects and internships from companies add experience in automobile engineering graduates. Annually, a number of championships and competitions, such as Go Kart, racing, Robowar are organized by the university to provide students with a platform for innovation and development.
