To get into NIT Delhi for the M.Tech course, students have a high score on the GATE exam. The cutoff may vary each year depending on the seat availability, competition and course. In 2024, during the first round, the cutoff scores for ME/MTech admission were closed between 381 and 680, for the General AI category. Meanwhile, in the last round, the cutoff scores for the same course ranged between 351 and 547.
The final seat allocation is done through the CCMT (Centralized Counseling for MTech) process. Interested candidates can appear for the entrance exam and fill out the application form on the official website.

The course is divided into four semesters, each of six months duration with written and practical examinations conducted at the completion of each semester.
The minimum requirement to apply for an M.Tech course at NIT Delhi is a Bachelor’s degree in the relevant stream along with a GATE score.
NIT Delhi cutoff for all the M.Tech courses goes above 600 for general category candidates.
