To get admission to the B.Tech programme at IEM Kolkata, a rank within the top 50,000 in the WBJEE or a score of at least 75% in JEE Main is typically required. However, specific cutoffs can vary yearly based on factors such as the number of applicants and seat availability. It is advisable to check the latest cutoffs for the most accurate information.

IEM Kolkata accepts WBJEE scores for admission to the BTech courses. WBJEE cutoff 2023 was concluded after Round 3 for most of the BTech specialisations. As per IEM Kolkata cutoff 2023, the last round closing ranks for BTech ranged between 6398 and 92292, among which BTech in CSE was the most competitive specialsiation. During the IEM Kolkata cutoff 2022, the last round closing rank was 3621, for the General All India category students. Considering the two years cutoff trend for BTech in CSE, candidates seeking admisison to IEM Kolkata must secure a rank closer to the ranks availble here for the General AI category students.
