Depending on the department you want to attend. You must rank in the top 1k if you want to acquire a job in CSE, ECE, mechanical engineering, or a similar field. To be eligible for an AU seat in other departments, you must rank in the top 2,000.

It depends on what department you would like to take. If you want to get CSE, ECE, Mechanical, something like that, you need to be in the top 1k. And for other departments you should be in the top 2k to get a seat in AU.
