The Symbiosis Open Education Society founded the private institution Symbiosis Skills and Professional University (SSPU) in 2017, and formerly known as Symbiosis Skills and Open University or SSOU. The university is in Pune and is accredited by the UGC. Twelve schools of SSPU provide 19 undergraduate, graduate, and diploma-level courses. The courses are available in a variety of fields, including engineering, architecture, and science.
