    AIMA does not play any role in deciding MAT cut offs for admission to any institute. The cut offs are determined by MAT participating colleges individually. AIMA only calculates MAT percentile of every candidate basis their raw score. Factors such as total number of candidates appearing for the exam, the difficulty level of the exam and total number of seats collectively determine MAT cut off for a particular academic session. The cut offs rarely increase or decrease in an academic session. Composite Score of 400 and above is considered a good MAT score.
