    This is depending on University, if you look syllabus of ISI Kolkata, you can find that syllabus is designed to test statistical formulas and basic level of stored procedure, data structures, algorithm and programming. Whole course is dedicated to statistical analysis only. In another University, you can find similar syllabus but in second and final year you can find lots of high level programming like. NET Java and c+. The reason is behind lack of availability of qualified professors. Nowadays, statistics has better opportunity than another traditional and professional courses.
