IPMAT is conducted by the Indian Institute of Management, Indore. The exam was earlier conducted and accepted by only IIM Indore for admission to its give year intergrated programme in management. In 2022, Indian Institute of Foreign Trade started accepting IPMAT scores for admission to its integrated MBA programme. From the year 2023 onwards, many other institutes were added to the list which will also accept IPMAT scores conducted by IIM Indore. Institutes such as the Indian Institute of Ranchi, Alliance University, NICMAR University, Department of Management Studies, NALSAR University of Law and Institute of Management, Nirma University will also accept IPMAT scores for admission to the Integrated Programme in Management (IPM). Other institutes which will accept IPMAT scores include IIM Amritsar, IIT Mandi, JAGSsom, etc.

The latest notification about IPMAT 2024 Examination is that, it is going to be conducted on 23 May 2024. The registration is most likely to start during the first week of March 2034 and will last till April 2024.
