In English . Honours you have to study 3 subjects in first year including 3 papers of English . And 2 of other subjects each. In second year and third year you drop one subject from the two and study 4 papers of English . Whereas in B.A. In English . Plain you have to choose 3 subjects including English . As main subjects and all 3 will have equal importance.

In B.A. In English you have 2 subjects in final year but in B.A. Hons English you will have only single English subject in final year. In M.A. Hons will help you as some parts are already taught there but in Simple B.A. You will study only elementary English literature.
