Often students confuse between B.Com (H) and B.Com (P). Both the courses are related to each other but there is some difference between the two. B.Com (H) is a degree in which subjects like accountancy and economics are taught in depth but in B.Com (P) there is overview of these subjects. B.Com (H) specializes in these subjects whereas B.Com (P) will not. Subject in B.Com programme.

The subjects taught in both the courses are almost same but the programme gives you an overview of all the subjects, whereas, B.Com (Hons) specializes you in a particular subject or field. Although the cut-off of B.Com (Hons) for the universities are relatively high and the cut-off of B.Com programme is relatively low.
