In a normal or pass course B. Tech program, students are taught about all the major fields of engineering. However, in a B. The basic difference between a honours and a simple B.Tech is of marks and skill, only a few colleges in India offer B.Tech with honours. One must secure 75+ overall marks during his 8 semesters in B.Tech to get a honours degree.
