    Yes they both are different in their own way.Actually most people dont know th clear difference.They refer computer engineerin to computer Science engineering.For eg. Theres lot of difference in IT , CE, CSE, CT (Computer technology). Whats the main difference is that computer engineering mainly focuses on both the hardware as well as the software part whereas computer Science is all about software, programming and algorithms. CSE includes heavy mathematics knowledge as compared to Computer engineering.When it comes to scope, in my opinion CSE is the better one as it is all about designing stuff.There goes a lot of brainwork in CSE tha

    Computer Engineering focuses specifically on computer hardware and software. It is an integration of computer Science and electrical engineering. For this reason, many people who want to become computer engineers earn an undergraduate degree in electrical engineering (often with a minor or double major in computer Science), and then earn a graduate degree in computer engineering.
