Restaurant Service generally refers to any business involved in the manufacture / preparation of foods outside the home, or materials used for manufacturing / preparing foods.
Catering refers to the business of preparing / cooking / serving food at a specified location. Caterers are members of the Food Service industry. Restaurants are considered part of the food service industry, although not all of them provide Catering services.
