What's the difference between subjective and objective type questions?

    Subjective type questions: The candidate have to answer the question completely with a proper logic (exam like CBSE board, etc.)
    Objective type questions: Options are given and explanation may or may not be required.

    Subjective questions involve long answer type questions, like the ones you write in your school. Whereas in objective type, you are given options and you've to choose the correct option. It may be a single choice or a multiple choice answer.

    Hello Vikrant,
    A Subjective test requires the student to explain the answer to a particular question in his/her own words. This may include typing the answer or writing using a pen/pencil on a sheet of paper. The subjective exams are commonly held in schools or college level.
    On the other hand, an objective test requires the user to either pick one or more of the many options provided by the test makers or provide their own answer in a word or two. An objective test does not require the user to provide an illustrative answer in contrast to a subjective test.

    An objective perspective is one that is not influenced by emotions, opinions, or personal feelings - it is a perspective based on fact, in things quantifiable and measurable. A subjective perspective is one open to greater interpretation based on personal feeling, emotion, aesthetics, etc. Upvote if you like my answer.

    These are two types of questions based on intelligence checking. In objective type questions, answer is based on given data like multiple choice questions and statements. Whereas, in subjective type questions, answers are based on point to point correlation of given data like short answer written type. Good Luck.

    In subjective question, you have to write the answer but in the objective question, you need to choose the correct answer and mark them.
