Thanks for the answer. Are you sure? While filling the form for NET, I am not greeting my institution name from where I have completed my PG (Institution of Distance Learning-IDOL, Mumbai).

Eligiblity for net Candidates securing at least 55% marks in their Master's Degree or equivalent from a recognised university in Humanities (including languages), Social Science, Computer Science and Applications, Electronic Science, etc. Are eligible to appear for the UGC NET exam conducted by NTA.

Hello, Yes, you are eligible for both NET and SET exam. As per your qualifications you can appear in the History subject.
