What's the next step as a data analyst??

I am a Btech graduate(IT) 2011 passout, got job in may 2012 as a Data analyst in a company(KPO). totally confused and afraid abt my future? Can i survive as a data analyst? what willbe the next step of data analyst? how will b the future? how to enhance my career??
