How is Merit List Compiled for NEET 2019? The eligibility criteria for the compilation of NEET 2019 Merit List is determined on the basis of guidelines as directed by the Medical Council of India and Dental Council of India. The eligibility is laid out as per the Graduate Medical Education Regulations 1997. The determinants of NEET 2019 Merit List include the following terms: An applicant must attain minimum marks of 50th percentile in the qualifying entrance exam, I. e. , NEET 2019. Aspirants must have passed 10+2 with minimum 50% marks with Physics, Biology/Biotechnology, Chemistry, and English as compulsory subjects. Though the number of candidates to be included in the merit list are pre-determined but if the required number of candidates fail to do so, the central government in consultation with MCI and DCI may lower the minimum required marks at its own discretion. What is Mock Counselling/ Seat Allotment in NEET 2019 Counselling Process? Mock Counselling or Indicative Seat Allotment is an option open for the candidates to get an idea of the seats they can get based on their choices and rank. Mock Counselling in NEET 2019 helps candidates to refine their selection of choice. After that, they can modify them, as the placement during that period is not binding. Seat Allotment After a few days of counselling, the candidates will receive an SMS or Email regarding their allotted course and college.
