What's the procedure of taking admission through lateral entry?

Diploma holders in engineering are eligible to take admission, in the second year of the Degree. You must have done their diploma after 10th (3 year) with minimum 50% or after 12th (2 year) and you need to qualify LEET. Various engineering colleges in India also offer direct admission to diploma holders in second year of the course and in reputed institutes, after completing diploma student gets entry in second year of B.Tech through LEET. Some private institutes like BITS Pilani, VIT, LPU University, etc. conduct their separate entrance test. Top colleges are:

To get admission into B.Tech lateral entry, you need to appear for state LEET examination and score good in the same but for Lokmanya Tilak Jankalyan Shikshan Sanstha's Priyadarshini Institute of Engineering and Technology - B.E.
