Till now, it was on the basis of class 12th results. This year it might be through CUCET , or a mix of both, it is not clear yet. Stay in loop with the website of the college and the university for updates.

The student has to fulfil the minimum criteria that is
    1) To score 45% aggregate in the qualifying examination
    2) The student must have studied Mathematics at the qualifying examination.
Along with the above criteria, the student has to score higher than the cut off marks to get admission in the college

To get admission in SRCC graduation programs you have to clear their cut-off. And these cut-off are purely based on 12th marks.

Hi...

I need to clarify first: are you asking about admission to Chandigarh University for B.Tech/B.E, or admission to a medical/paramedical course (like B.Sc Nursing, MBBS, BPT, etc.)

The marks required and exam rules differ a lot depending on the stream.

Chandigarh University follows a holistic admission approach, giving importance to both Class 12 performance and JEE Main scores, depending on the route chosen. For JEE-qualified students, the JEE score primarily determines merit-based scholarships and priority counseling, while Class 12 marks ensure eligibility verification. For students not appearing in JEE, Class 12 performance, particularly in PCM subjects, becomes the primary eligibility criterion, alongside CUCET scores for CSE programs. This dual-focus system allows students with strong 12th marks but no JEE score to secure admission, while rewarding JEE participants with merit a

Generally, candidates should have passed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with one additional relevant subject. The minimum percentage requirement is as per regulatory norms and may vary slightly by program, but JEE scores alone do not override academic eligibility. Even for students applying with JEE Main 2026 ranks for scholarship consideration, meeting the 12th standard eligibility is mandatory.
