One of the most talked about engineering exams is round the corner. AIEEE is conducted for the aspiring engineering candidates seeking admission to Engineering, Architecture, Planning and Pharmacy degree courses. It is the gateway to many IITs, NITs and state level engineering colleges and institute... View More
in order to crack any entrance exam one should study with a motive to gain knowledge not to just crack the exam with this mindset the person will not leave any topic

Revising key concept of NCERT textbook is enough for Aieee Chemistry and Maths section. Physics section is little bit conceptual. However, revising formulas of physics, watching NCERT examples is enough to crack AIEEE with above 200 Marks.

.It is not advisable to invest excessive time addressing your 'weak area' now.Instead revise the strong points from your 'weak area' and hope that you don't see too many tricky questions from your weak area in AIEEE.!,specific time limit for every section so that they don't miss on any section.! .AT last ,Hard work is the key to sucess.

I THINK THAT AIEEE IS MATTER OF SPEED!! BUT IF A PERSON IS WEEK IN CORE CONCEPTS. GO THROUGH THE CONCEPTS THEN DO PRACTISE QUESTIONS.WHEN 1 GAINS GOOD CONFIDENCE SOLVE MOCH TEST!! SO ITS THE BASIC STRATEGY TO DEVELOP CONFIDENCE!!!!!!

As far as the exam is concerned, attempting as many questions as possible with minimum negative marks will be the clue to cracking it. Intelligent guessing and methods of choosing the right option like elimintaion of choices, getting clues from other questions can also help. Presence of mind in the exam hall can help a great deal.

My formula - 1) Give Priority to your subjects i.e. Physics Chemistry Maths and / or bio. e.g. if you find Chemistry easy then give it priority no. 1, similarly if your next easy subject is Maths then number it 2 and so on 2) Since time left is very less, so it is normal that now one can't in his tough subjects but can score well in easy subjects. So focus more on 1, then 2, then 3 3) Read a subject for some time, take abreak, Change the subject 4) Leave the question which is taking too much time, don't wasre time, move ahead to next question 5) Don't play bluffs, answer the question when you are sure 6) Enjoy your studies

Thanks Aneeket for inviting me fo such a beautiful discussion topic. My suggestion is All Hard work has been done for entire year now its time for search the way of Smart work. Pickup the topic which is ur most favorite and the topic which is most important make highlight. When writing the exam do the same method and give the priority of ur favorite topic and so on.

(continued) during your course of study on that day. 3rd is your Health - There is no point to think about the future if you don't have the body and soul with you. Don't skip meals, which students tend to do during exams. Take up a light exercise like jogging or meditation for proper breathing, Plenty of fluids and ofcourse right amount of sleep. Dont sleep late. Instead wake up early! Lastly, Concentrate, Dont get distracted and stay calm.

Despite valuable advice given by our peers, teachers, friends and and even people from this Discussion, I personally believe a more holistic approach to advice an engineering aspirant, in this case an AIEEE aspirant would be through the eyes of a student who has actually gone through the various mindsets of the entrance exams and come out with the desired results. As an engineering student myself studying in Delhi College of Engineering ( Now called DTU ), I too gave my heart and soul for all the exams. but there are few points that are always an obstacle towards our goal, which should be removed and I want to share how I came across a

As an engineering student myself studying in Delhi College of Engineering ( Now called DTU ), I too gave my heart and soul for all the exams. but there are few points that are always an obstacle towards our goal, which should be removed and I want to share how I came across a few: 1st is the study material - We all have various books advised by various people. Some are good, but most of them are not enough. At the Back of the mind, there will always be a doubt "Have I studied the complete course?" , " This book is missing some information, because it says something else in this one", "Will the packages provided by my coaching centre be enough?" and etc. So a good book for each Phy, Chem and Maths which covers everything including thorough conceptual MCQs is preferable. In my case, I was lucky to find 3 Arihant books with numerable MCQs and succinct theory for each subject that fulfilled my needs and gave me enough practice to grasp the concepts and attempt any question that came in my way. 2nd is Time Management -Take atleast half an hour to decide. The way I did was, I opened all the 3 contents page of Phy Chem and Maths, Started Ticking the subjects that I am really confident in, and marked a star for each topic that still needed to be covered. For efficiency, I grouped 2-3 broad topics and 4-5 smaller ones together for each subject (including the ones i was confident in and not touched) and aimed to finish 1 set of each subject in 1 day. Side by side, i made a note of all my doubts, which I would clear later with my teacher or friends. Also make sure, before going to sleep, you go through all the good points and questions you might have come across during your cour

Three major concepts: time, speed and idea are inevitable and hence, balancing a good stability among them would yield the goal. All the three bears the same weightage, hence practice these concepts, while preparing for your exams.

To add on, I strongly believe that engineering entrance exams are considered significant, especially in India, because most of the students in the country aim for engineering studies, immediately after their plus two. So, the foremost point to ace the test is that aspirants must know very well know the syllabus. He/she must try to be analytical rather than being intuitive.
