    Hi Vivek,
For a fresh graduate, the salary range is around Rs. 20,000-50,000/month, the average salary range is about Rs 20,000-50,000/month
The highest top star hotels in India are:
    1. Hotel Leela Ventures Limited
    2. Taj Group of Hotels
    3. International hotels
Salaries depend on the places and the designations. To get an idea about the salary in star hotels
    Duty Manager: around 5lakh/year
    General Manager: 25lakh/year
    Restaurant Manager: around 7lakh/year.
In international hotels, the salaries would be more.

The salary in this field depends upon the organisation in which you are working and your job profile. If you are working with the five-star hotel chains then the starting salary could be anything around Rs. 18,000 to Rs. 30,000 per month. After some experience the salary could be anywhere between Rs. 30,000 to Rs. 1,50,000 per month. There are a few good colleges which offers this specialisation. Those colleges are:
    Christ University - Bangalore
    Lovely Professional University - Punjab
Kerala Institute of Tourism & Travel Studies
Indian Institute of Tourism & Travel Management - Bhubaneswar
Indian Institute of Tourism & Travel Management - G
