The Central University of Gujarat (CUG) in India requires students to score at least 50% in their class 12 exams from a recognised board to be eligible for admission. SC/ST candidates are eligible for a 5% mark reduction The university releases merit lists for candidates who qualify for the cutoff. For example, the 2023 cutoff for the Round 1 closing score for Master of Education (M. Ed.) was 200 for the general category. For the 2024 cutoff for OBC is 366.35, 334.78 (OBC).
