What score should I aim to get good colleges through IIT JEE?

Marks-ranks correlation can change wildly from year to year. One of my friend got a 351/480 and was ranked 408 in JEE 2011. In JEE 2010, someone who got 350 was in the top 100.
All I can say is if you want CS in a top IIT, you have to score as high as you can and get a rank as low as you can. For I
