Youngstown State University offers several scholarship schemes to in-state as well as international students. Students seeking to avail scholarships must maintain exceptional academic records. They are required to maintain a minimum GPA of 3 on a scale of 4 to avail scholarships such as Freshman Scholarships for Excellence. Students with a minimum ACT score of 90 or an SAT score of more than 990, are also eligible to apply for the scholarships.
