The spinal cord is not the only part of the body that a chiropractor is knowledgeable about. It is already known that chiropractor training is tough. A chiropractic student must finish about 2,419 hours of coursework before being granted a licence. While most medical students require 2,047 hours of study time, this is not always the case.

A chiropractor must also have considerable instruction in anatomy, embryology,  physiology, biochemistry, diagnostics, x-ray, and orthopaedics, whereas a medical professional must have training in Pathology, Psychology, and Obstetrics.
