What shall I do? I have taken admission for CSE in LPU and I am watching some bad reviews regarding its faculty and placement.

Every college has some good reviews some bad reviews, you don't worry about that. LPU is a brand itself. Good luck!

Hello, Those who are not able to perform they will say always bad to LPU. As an alumni, it might seem that I am supporting LPU but this is the reality which I have experienced in LPU during my graduation and post-graduation. LPU gives me an extra edge. LPU provides ample opportunities to each and every eligible student to secure good placement with the help of a dedicated Division of Career Services. The university has been ranked high by various outer agencies with regard to placements of our students. More than 550 companies visit every year for such activities and campus-recruitment of students from LPU; and this year for batch graduating in 2020, already more than 500 placement/internship drives have been conducted till January 2020 with leading industry giants (more than 90% being MNCs) and generating more than 3000 offers just in the first half of the academic session. At Lovely Professional University, they not talk about Job Placements, but Career Placements. As per students interest and inclination towards his or her career choice LPU provide career pathways and accordingly changes are done in the students curriculum based on the pathway being opted by students like: Corporate jobs Government Jobs Higher studies Entrepreneurship Research LPU has around 2300 faculty members in the university. Dear Arka, I can understand your concern. At this stage, a person is very cautious about his career and fake reviews divert a person. LPU is the best place to study. There are certain parameters such as placements, infrastructure, faculty level, environment, growth etc. To be considered while selection of institute for pursuing education. It is a big question in the mind of a student as well as parents that what will the offers and placement scenario of educational institute when the student will be about to complete the course. LPU is an international university with more than 700+ tie ups with industries and companies to support academic and placement of his students. My cousin sister done her B.Tech in CSE from here and she got placed in Cognizant with top package. Other friends of her also placed in other companies such as Capgemini, Tech. Mahindra, BOSCH, Amazon, SAP, Texas Instruments, Cadence, Sandisk, Moserbear. Their junior Tanya Arora who is recently in news, got placed in Microsoft with 42 LPA. So, we have no doubt that LPU is best and a bench marks for placement and internships of students not only in CSE but also in other courses.

Those who couldn't make it to LPU or those who didn't perform well and marred their chances to get a good placement are going to talk bad only. But the truth is LPU has wonderful placements and highly qualified faculty from IITs, IIITs, NITs, etc.

University is good or bad, is always subjective. There arises individual differences which leads to these kind of statements. There could be a place which you may prefer and I may not. It could be because of many factors like situation, mind set, preferences etc. But inn my opinion, LPU is the best private university to go for B.Tech, it is one of the top 5 universities of India, providing quality education, innovative pedagogy and unbeatable placements both national and international. LPU provides a great academic exposure to its students. It provides a chance to the students to attend guest lectures or workshops, so that they get to learn as much as they can. Most of the faculty members are from IIT, IIIT, NIT, IIM or from elite Schools (India/Abroad). They have a decade of experience. The faculty is really helpful. Even they help students after regular university hours In every section they have 4060 Students which helps teachers to focus on each student. From my personal experience, I can say that the LPU faculty is the best in the world, they not only help you with your academics but also guide you in shaping your future.

Placements are very good at LPU. Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. The maximum package availed by the student for CSE is 42 LPA. The maximum salary offered was 40 LPA and the average salary was 5.7lpa. The faculty of LPU are trained professionals who have studied at top universities of the country and have worked with industrial giants also are equipped with academic excellence. Most of them have studied at reputed universities and institutions. They deserve to be the faculty hence they are at the dais. The academic and professional details about faculty are mentioned on the website. The teachers also ACT as mentors to the students. The students can call them and talk to them to get an answer to any academic or personal problem they feel stuck at. The faculty are engaged in higher learning and research work simultaneously. Such is the ambiance of LPU. LPU is a brand in itself. It has been ranked as one of the best universities by various agencies based on its infrastructure, its placements, its pedagogy, its faculty, to mention a few. LPU has over 2300 highly qualified faculty, and most of them are either Ph.D. or pursuing Ph.D. The faculty members give their best to make you understand things in an easy approach. University takes utmost care and no chance in choosing qualified faculty members. Also, the University keeps on conducting regular Faculty Development programs so that they can update the faculty members with the industry and the latest needs. The majority of the faculty members are from IITs, IIITs, NITs, Iims, or other prestigious schools in India and abroad. They have a ten-year track record. The professors are quite helpful. They even assist students outside of usual university hours. There are 4060 students in each section, which allows teachers to focus on each kid individually. From personal experience, I can tell that the professors at LPU are among the greatest in the world; they not only assist you with your academics but also help you shape your future.

Dear Arka, You must have seen fake news and heard from the wrong guy. I am an alumnus of LPU and I can assure you that LPU doesn't have any bad thing. Moreover, all faculty members are well qualified from IITs, NITs, Iims, and top-ranked universities all over the world. All the faculty members are really helpful for all aspects whether it is academics or any other. My guide during my programme helped me a lot in my research work and I published 2 International Conference Papers. Many students have published research papers and patents in International Journal and Conferences. Good Placement: Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which they are placed. The maximum package available for Engineering programme is 42 lacs. Per annum by 2020 pass-out batch. I suggest you, please visit once LPU or talk with only alumni of LPU except for any other person. LPU is regarded as the Best Institute whether it is faculty, international exposure, placement or rankings. I can justify myself through the following PLACEMENTS : LPU has formed a contemporary record in the whole of North India by placing its student Tanya Arora with Microsoft, who bagged a package of 42 LPA. Additionally, other record-breaking placements for LPU includes: the highest Placement (Engineering) Rs. 42 Lacs per annum (Microsoft) the highest Placement (Management) Rs. 19.75 Lacs per annum (SOBHA Developers) the highest Placement (Design) Rs. 15 Lacs per annum (Trident Group) Amazon recruited LPU students on a package of 28 LPA The highest internship stipend is up to 80k per month. (which is really hard to get in other universities) The reason why LPU has better placement records than other universities is because of its unique career cell. It enables students in getting relevant work experience to complement their studies and develop appropriate skills and knowledge.
