What shall I do to become an engineer in railways? I am currently studying Diploma in computer science.

As you are studying in Diploma CS branch, it is quite tough to be an engineer in railway as in railways there is less scope of computer engineer but you keep on trying as some post of booking ticket and cashier are came for it.
