What should be a best pathway of becoming CEO for a 28 yr old mechanical engineer having 9 years exp in sales & Marketing ?

Hi, I m a graduate mech eng, having 9 years exp in technical sales, i want to become CEO in next 10-15 years, please let me know a cheap and helpful way for this. I gave IELTS exam and scored 6.5 bands in each module.
