What should be my answer for the gap year if I drop out of NIT-Patna in the first year and take admission next year in another NIT or IIT?

I am asking this as in the gap year affidavit of most of the colleges, it is written that I have not joined any institution during the gap after passing the qualifying examination.

You can clearly mention that gap year is because of upgrade of Institute by reappearing in JEE. All reasonable recuiters will condone this gap year in HR round of interview.
