Hello,
As you are asking for a strategy so the main thing is smart work. What actually happening is many students are focusing on 12th board and not on JEE exams so as they appear for JEE Mains they don't score well. The only thing is to study NCERT fully then go for guides and solve their questions and at last solve the recent 10 years questions of JEE Mains. -

Since, JEE mains is conducted by CBSE board. I will suggest you to read all the NCERT books of concerned subject. But, NCERT will only help you to clear chemistry part. You should read some institute materials and solve the questions.
For reference, you can use HCV for physics and practice more questions. It will help you a lot. -
JEE is all India entrance exam so it is going to be tough. If you have to score high, you have to be good in physics. Chemistry consist of similarly reaction, so it helps to score high. Mathematics is vast and difficult to score or crack the logic.
To prepare, you must solve at least 50 MCQs per day per subject. Time management is the most important thing for any competitive exam. Usage of shortcut is required to save time and score high.
In mathematics, don't prepare half section. You should study every section completely and then move on to next section. You should not be overconfident. -
