What should be my preparation strategy to crack VITEEE in one year?

You can easily crack VITEEE exam even if you have 30 days left, you just have to remember some important point like: 1. Time Management: VITEEE is not about solving all questions, but it is about solving a decent number of questions in a given time frame. If you are unable to solve any question do not waste time on a particular question. Move to the next question and try to solve easy questions rather than focusing and spending more time on solving a more difficult question. 2. Understand basic concepts: It is really important to complete your NCERT books as these textbooks will help you to build your base and you can learn the basics. Always ensure that you are covering all topics of NCERT books well on time. The NCERT of Class 11 and Class 12 covers about 45 percent and 55 percent of the VITEEE question papers, respectively. 3. Develop speed and accuracy skills: While preparing for the VITEEE give importance to speed in working out the problems. Try to make your own strategy to crack the exam. Enhance your skills and try to master analytical skills with conceptual understanding. Aim for 100 percent strike rate. This will give you an edge over the other students. Speed and accuracy are really important to crack this VITEEE exam. 4. Practice a lot: VITEEE exam requires lots of hard work and practice. The more you practice, the better it is for you. Here are some tips and strategies to crack VITEEE in one year: Officially speaking, VITEEE mentioned subjects in the NCERT books as its syllabus for VITEEE. For Physics and maths, NCERT may prove to be insufficient. It can do your job for Chemistry. For maths and physics, refer to the books that your coaching has recommended and solved a lot of questions or you can refer Cengage's study materials. For Physics and maths, NCERT may prove to be the final step i.e. 2-3 months before the VITEEE, to focus on speed and accuracy. Don't waste time in solving lengthier questions, but root for questions which are more concept based. You must have all the formula and equations (algebraic and chemical alike) on your fingertips. Know that almost seventy percent of the question paper is formula based. The most important out of all the VITEEE tips and tricks is time management. Only those who are able to solve questions accurately and quickly are the ones who grab the baton. You can divide your time for separate questions. What you should do is that solve last 10 years papers before the exam as it requires a good practice. The questions are simple, but you require high speed with higher accuracy. You should attempt all the questions in VITEEE exam as there is no negative marking. Hope it helps.

Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) University conducts Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Exam (VITEEE) to offer admissions to aspirants in B.Tech programmes available at its Vellore and Chennai campuses. VITEEE is a computer-based test (CBT) and its language of instruction is English only. The duration of this entrance exam is two and a half hours. Cracking VITEEE is pretty easy if you are already preparing for JEE. If you have studied for JEE then you just need to do proper revision and solve a lot of mock tests. But if you haven't prepared for JEE then you have to follow a systematic approach to crack the exam. Start with the NCERT books. Check the syllabus and make sure you cover everything mentioned there. Solve a lot of questions for all the subjects.
