What should be my preparation strategy to pursue M.Tech from MIT?

Get involved in a lot of project works, research activities, workshops, seminars etc. which will help you showcase your intellect, interest and skills. Focus on your academics but a university like MIT are looking for all-rounders. So even if your grades are good but you have nothing special about y
