If you belong to the General AI quota, the UCEED target rank should be below 90 to secure a seat at IIT Guwahati. In 2025, the Round 3 closing rank was 90 for B.Des admission. For the OBC category students, the cutoff rank was 50, so candidates must aim to secure a rank lower than 50 to improve their chances of getting admission to this institute.

IIT Guwahati released the UCEED 2025 cutoffs upto the second round for admission to the BDes course. The Round 3 cutoff rank for IIT Guwahati is yet to be released. In 2024 and 2023, the round 3 cutoff ranks were 80 and 86, respectively, for the General AI category candidates. Therefore, looking at the cutoff trend, a closing rank between 78 to 88 could be expected in Round 3 for B.Des admission.
