IIM Bangalore places a lot of value on past academics performance. It includes 10th, 12th and UG marks. The candidates' percentage scores in the 10th and 12th board exams are initially adjusted by dividing each such score by
the 90th percentile score obtained in that board. Similarly UG score is also normalized. Post this aggregate score is calculated by assigning weights to different components.
