The required percentile in CAT should be above 97 and a decent academic score in 10th, 12th and graduation.

IIM Bangalore places a lot of value on past academics performance. It includes 10th, 12th and UG marks. The candidates' percentage scores in the 10th and 12th board exams are initially adjusted by dividing each such score by
the 90th percentile score obtained in that board. Similarly UG score is also normalized. Post this aggregate score is calculated by assigning weights to different components. Here are the weights for generating shortlist: CAT Percentile: 20%, 10th Board 15%, 12th Board 10% and UG: 15%. Remaining 50 is Interview and WAT.
