Hello
This year, IIT JAM has total 2152 seats for IITs and IISc and 1412 seats for NITs to getting the admission for M.Sc. And Ph.D. courses. The minimum score is defined according to the IIT JAM 2019 Cut Off by IIT Kharagpur. As you know, IIT JAM conducts in seven subjects. So, the cut off is declared in all 7 subjects. Mostly the highest cutoff in JAM is for Geology 35-40 average (according to the previous data). You can check the expected IIT JAM 2019 Cut off https://scoop.eduncle.com/iit-jam-results for all subject here. If you want to get the admission in IITs then you need to 60 above marks in your subject. Hope it will help you....more -
Hi Jeetesh, If you are just concerned for CSE branch then in 2017, the closing rank was around 6000 rank (IIT-Jammu) for general till seven rounds of counselling. If you want a more popular college then you need to secure AIR 50, to get CSE in IIT-Bombay. Rest, if you belong to general category and just want to get into any IIT in any branch including pure Science courses like M.Sc. Then a rank up to approximately 10000 to 11000 is also good.
